Going to Mull for the whole of January, are there any good fly fishing
venue's. Graham

Not a hope, the trout lochs were dour enough last August, the close season
is firmly in place and no Rainbow type fisheries on the island. Lots of
other things to enjoy though, don't miss Iona.

The only place you will have is the sea. Then again go out in one of
the charter boats and you might just get a 140Lb Skate, not on the fly
though

Better to ask on uk.rec.fishing.sea - I would expect there still to be a few
pollack/saithe around rocky bits of the coast and they'll take lures around
#1/0 or #4 doubles.
