I can accept that for a short stretch when it mattered the Sox were better
and live with being wrong on the expectations, but do the Cards have to do a
poor imitation of the Chicago Cubs in three straight games?

Poor starting pitching; poor hitting; stupid mistakes. Reminds me of
fishing a couple of weeks ago when I got buck fever and jerked the fly out
of a fish's mouth.

I just listened to an interview with Jeff Suppan, who was in the locker room
surrounded by reporters. Classy guy, and obviously pretty upset. Over and
over again, all he could say was that he "screwed the play up". He must have
said it ten times.
