SouthWest Florida Pompano Run
I don't know about "good"
The Sarasota ABC affiliate has a fishing segment on Friday. Tonight the guide who is featured on it was shown catching pompano and blue fish in Sarasota bay. The water is still around 61 deg. He didn't say how much of what was caught wrote in message oups.com... Anyone know if it's started to get good yet?

We have been catching a few in Sarasota Bay. We caught 3 small pompano ( 1
to 2 lbs) and a 4 lb permit Wed am. Would not say it is a run but we have been catching a few for the last several weeks along with sheepshead. Most going out of New Pass have been catching pompano.
