Default FLORIDA BEACH FISHING

So I always fished on lakes. Now I live right on the ocean in Ft.
Lauderdale, FL and am wondering how to catch something.
All my bait seams to be eaten by crabs !!! Grrr !!!

Any tips on fishing off of Florida beaches and / or pears.

Thanks!

Go hang out at Anglins pier up in LBTS...Wander down to T&R tackle next to
the hardware store.... Freindly people with lots of local fishing
knowledge. Just make sure you buy from them after they give you good
advice.

BTW.. piers are better than surf. The ocean is pretty flat to within
casting distance in FLL, They pull some huge fish off the pier.

try putting some panty hose around it. Or, put a float not too far from the
bait, keep it off the bottom.
