I used to enjoy this group, reading advice and comments about angling,
but now it has been taken over by the ranters, whatever their viewpoint,
for or against whatever they are bleating about. Please note, this group
if for anglers and by anglers. Others, please clear off!

I do agree with you Bertieboy but don't you think even reading about fishing
could help people with the paranoia and mental problems shown in these
rants.
To go and actually try a days fishing relaxing on a river bank at home with
nature
and the odd kick of adrenalin when you get a bite, could really push them
back to
sanity.
Lets hope they get cured soon and make sure there are plenty of messages
about
fishing on here.

Cheers

John.

It would be nice to think fishing would help them but I suspect most are
too far down the anti route to change now.

They won't know unless they try it. In any case, just enjoy the
tranquillity of nature, it is so peaceful (until the alarm goes off of
course)!

Lets hope they get cured soon and make sure there are plenty of messages
about
fishing on here.

I second that. I've got a week's fishing lined up at Creedy Lakes in
Devon in April and I can't wait!
Regards.

Despite the variety of names well over 90% of these massively crossposted
threads are all started by the same person, and have been since 2002 :-(

If you killfile/filter on the contents of the Path: header, pick a bit from
the middle of the list, you'll find that most new ID's are caught
automatically. Pete the Troll uses three or four paths at any one time so
you'll need more than one filter line but once done you can forget about
him.

Cheerio,

Cheerio,

I must admit I generally kill the lot rather than individually, so your
post was v. helpful. Thanks Derek

I also used to like it here when the posts were actually about fishing. The
shame is do the author(s) of all the drivel posted here now actually think
we read it?

It is nice to see that there still exists many candidates for natural
de-selection. If only that day would hurry up and come.
