Default Help: Connecticut River Catfishing

I've been mainly Bass fishing the last 10 or so years and would like to do some Catfishing.
My buddy and I have done a couple of overnight trips in my jon boat with not much luck. Oh! we were fishing outside of Barton's cove in MA.

Where on the river would be our best shot at getting some nice Channel Cats?

Where we have tried was very deep (60 to 80ft) and had a stong current.

Please help
