Default ice fishing fly?

I use a sweet fly with which I cathc many "doubles" or perch. Kokanee
salmon hit it. Lake tour hit it, too.

tiemco 3761 size 8
white thread
white craft fur tail
crystal flash body
black craft fur under wing
white craft fur over wing
silver flash sides
white thread head with two permanent marker eyes
cement and fish with enough maggots to cover the hook

I usually use it above a very small tear drop jig for pan fish. I also fish
a #3 white swedish pimple with flourescent orange marker and a pink rat
finke dropper.

My buddy calls it "The Secret Hawaiian"

He has a "Secret Hawaiian" brook trout fly too, but that looks much
different and I can't share it...sorry

Hi,
Anyone have a suggestion for flies used for ice fishing?

Try a couple drops of red hot glue on a size 10 hook and make a couple

wraps
of black hackle between the glue drops.
