Going to Ashville, NC 1st of Nov. Any "flyfishing" help regarding the local
streams would be appreciated. Will be fishing with wife - easy areas
appreciated.

look at the n. mills, over near the airport. it's an easy walk, delayed
harvest. be sure to follow the trail by the stream which goes
perpendicular to and away from the road (by the bridge that crosses the
road just beyond the campground).

I'd second the North Mills.

It is delayed harvest. It will be stocked on Oct 5 and Nov 5 by my TU
chapter. We usually have some fairly nice fish to stock.

Bear in mind that all the area rivers have been hit very hard by Hurricanes
Frances and Ivan. We are waiting to see what Hurricane Jeanne will do
tonight.

Thank you very much for the information - I will attempt to get the wife to
write a trip report upon return - my writing is somewhat questionable at
best.
Thanks again,
G
