Default SoLux Fly Tying Light

I went shopping for a desk light to put over the vise
and chose this one:

https://www.solux.net/cgi-bin/tlistore/19115.html

It arrived the other day and it's quite nice, a real
solid base, fits well above the vise, good illumination
and it comes with a clamp for traveling. I'm pleased.

More info on SoLux he

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with SoLux other than
being a happy customer.

That one looks like the Cadillac: scoring high on all
points except (possibly) price.

I recently bought several "full spectrum clip lamps"
at Staples for $19.95 each. More or less the same
thing but maybe cheaper. I use six of them for
illuminating a light tent, for closeup photos of flies.

The Staples lamps say they're the same as daylight,
but they're not quite. Balancing the camera for
default tungsten illumination setting isn't perfect,
and the daylight setting is too yellow.
In between is just right.
