Default Fishing Hurts (on Gmail)

I should have seen it coming.

I use Gmail for my external personal mail.
Gmail/Google's advertising model is to put ads relatively
inconspicuously along the border. Their advantage is that
they parse the emails you have received and put content
specific ads up.

My brother sent me some pictures from the long weekend fishing
with my neice.

SAS, along the border...
"Fishing Hurts - FishingHurts.com - If you wouldn't impale a dog in the
mouth, why do it to a fish?"

I'm not sure that it's money well spent on their part, I can't be their
target audience, but it's a smart thing to do if they can direct it
better. Gotta love technology.

I would guess that you (and the rest of us) *are* the prime target.
