I will be at Hilton Head SC in about 3 weeks. Does anyone know of a good
fishing pier or place in the surf to wet a line. I will have my kayak so I can do some in shore fishing....as far as my arms will take me. Thanks, |

No piers on HHI. Good red drum fishing in the creeks but not as good in hot
weather. Try Broad Creek. Live bait such as shrimp, mud minnows and finger mullet under a cork or on the bottom will do the trick. Try the mouth of feeder creeks into the spartina grass where oyster shells are present. good luck. Mike |

If you can troll in shallow ponds with grass, try a weedless gold spoon.
Redfish act like bass and waddle themselves a hole in the grass waiting on bait to pass. The grass will hold bait. Sarge |
