Default A little fishing today.

Went to a local lake with the boat for a day of boating and fishing with the
God Children, out for my daughters wedding. 2,6,8 years old. So I figured
bluegills would be a good targe species. Good choice by me. First spot,
nada, 2nd spot, trip fallen in water, 6 year old gets a BG, then the 8 year
old says I have a fish, and the pole is bendo extreme. I figured he had the
tree. Nope, nice 1#+ smallie. Only bass, but a few more gills made for a
good day. Maybe using Garden Hackle may be more productive at times.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I pretty much resigned myself to having to rent
out somebody else's grandkids to take fishing, but you've given me an idea.
Maybe I can just advertise for folks who need a godfather for their
children.

I've seen folks bursting with pride over their children, spoiling
grandchildren, and doting on godchildren, but you just went to the head of
the line, Bill. Don't let those young'uns read where you call them God
Children, though.... they might start thinking you're a soft touch. ;-)

Hey Joe, I have 5 of the lil' rascals over here you can fish with any time,
and I live real close to the lake now.
