Default Guide Recommendation for Bend, OR Area

I'll be in the Bend area mid July and would like to hook up with a guide
and/or a good fly fishing shop. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'll be camping at Tumalo St Park on the Deschutes just north of Bend. Any
recommendations on waters to try with a guide other than the Deschutes.

I'll also have a chance to spend a couple of days at Union Creek on the
Rogue River. Any recommendations here would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Jim

ROFFs Deschutes specialist, JR, is back East. If you wait a few days Im sure
he will pick up on your questions. In a pinch you might check out the shop
in Maupin.

Google up "Fly shops Bend Oregon" , you will get lots of hits. They
all have guides available. I would try the Metalouis ( may be crowded
in July), the Fall River and East Lake.
monitor the Westfly.com website. Fish early and late, sleep duing the
day.
