Default Help me out here

I am not educated in the ways of PCs like many of those on ROFB and the
upcoming loss of usenet on AT&T may be the end of my participation- unless
someone can give me help finding another way to get to ROFB.

I use this nntp server:

http://www.eternal-september.org/

It's free and it's a real nntp server which means you can
still use Outlook Express (blech), as opposed to trying to
do Usenet through Google news (double blech).

You'll have to have an email address other than an AT&T
address, I use Gmail for that.

Step 1: Sign up for a Gmail address at mail.google.com

Step 2: Complete online registration at www.eternal-september.org

Step 3: Configure your Outlook Express to use the new nntp server.

Good luck.

I use that one. Also nntp.aioe.org.

Worse comes to worse you can use google groups too, but many people and some
servers block all posts from google groups due to a high percentage of spam
originating there.
