hi-vis lines

I was wondering about hi-vis lines and if anyone has seen objective info
about whether
some of these lines really are fairly invisible underwater?

Like Chris, I am more into the "feel" rather than line watching. I fish
mainly soft plastics, and that involves working the bottom a
lot...learning to feel the structure of the bottom, and how to work the
bait in relation to the structure is a big thing with me....bouncing it
off of rock piles, feeling the weed bed edges, etc. So I rely on feel to
know when I have made the right presentaion, and that "big ole" bass has
been tricked . I reckon it's what you have learned, and are
comfortable with...but I doubt I could ever chnage from feel, to
watching .
