Default Catskills fishing - no boat needed?

Does anyone know of a good lake in the Catskills or somewhat close to
NYC where you can fish without needing a boat to get around the lake?

I'm in the City and want to do some fishing but would prefer not to
have to rent a motor boat or whatever. Maybe a place that has canoes
would be ok, too.

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
