I'm glad I asked you guys. I won't bother with any liners. That will
save me some cash too. Looks like I have everything I need. I just need to get tying and fill the thing :-) |

Just to mention, I have found a quite cheap source for fly boxes foam. This is trekking carpet. Some even exists in closed cell foam. They are usually a bit less resistent than styrofoam that comes usually pristine in the box. But you can make so much boxes with a single carpet that this is not a problem. By the way if your hooks are barbless they are far less agressive to the foam. I have reused some plastic boxes for bolt sorting. Cut the cases walls, a foam layer, and they are just fine for my sea streamers. This make you a nice box for around 2$. |
