Foam crayfish
That pattern looks great and I am at a loss as to how to improve it. Another great crayfish patter you may want to look at is the Twin Tail Madonna. Just remember to tie the crayfish in white or blue for when the crayfish are molting. -- theartoflee ------------------------------------------------------------------------ theartoflee's Profile: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...php?userid=876 View this thread: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...ad.php?t=12012 ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

You accomplish some alarming cream flies both dry and wet. I'd adulation to try some of them but you're application types of cream that just aren't accessible to the rest of us. The "craft" cream accessible to us tyers, just doesn't cut it. You spent alot of time putting up instructions, photos etc.

During this time of year almost every lure imaginable works. Topwater fishing is one of the most productive methods; floating Rapala's, Zara Spooks or similar lures are usually fantastic choices. When you are fishing topwater its good to keep a second rod handy with a worm or a crankbait tied on. Most of the time if you miss a strike on topwater and cast back right away with a worm or burn a crankbait through the same area you will connect 90% of the time. For the fly-fisherman, spring is an excellent time to be fishing with top-water and sub-surface flies for the shallow water bass. |
